We were fortunate to find Food In Motion Inc. and hired Lloyd and his team to run a brunch for 140 friends and family members at my In-laws apartment on the UWS. Lloyd was a caring, responsive, and an honest advisor. He conducted a site visit to walk me through the set-up and create a plan for the event. He was able to build an amazing menu for the event, also providing the staff, set-up, and arrange the party goods rental company delivery. His price was extremely reasonable and the food was amazing. I have received so many compliments regarding the eggs, asparagus, bacon, almond french toast, even Canelé pastries and mini croissants with brie and jam. The brunch was awesome and I will be using Lloyd for any future catering engagments. I have used caterers that have charged over $500 a plate and this food was far superior. Thank you Lloyd, Captain Rocco and the entire team at Food In Motion!!!!!!

Food in Motion catered our rooftop party for 50 in Battery Park City. Lloyd, the owner, met with me to review the venue and came up with the ideal menu for the occasion. The food was really good. We had lobster rolls, sliced steak, mint pesto snow peas, an out of this world zucchini pasta and a really delish berry/cream scone dessert. Everything was amazing. The passed appetizers were a big hit especially the mini cheeseburgers! The staff assembled was amazing! Personable, professional, pleasant and hard working. They would have done whatever it took to make sure the party was a success. Thank you to all at Food in Motion.

We run a little wedding business and Food In Motion is hands down our favorite caterer. The run a tight, very professional ship. The arrive on time, the staff is friendly, efficient, and easy to deal with. You can expect your event to be handled perfectly start to finish - they take care of everything so you can relax and enjoy. Most importantly, in ten years of renting space for parties and weddings. we still haven't tasted food that was more delicious. They are the best. And they don't do little portions, so your guests will leave happy and full. Added bonus, Michelle puts together flower arrangements that would make Martha Stewart jealous. I wish all our bride and grooms used them (which is exactly what I tell them when they ask about caterers).

I had a sandwich from here today during a business meeting and it looked really good through the wrapper but it was a big disappointment. It was prosciutto and cheese with arugula but as soon as I took a bite my sinuses starting burning and I could barely swallow more than a few bites because it was smothered in spicy mustard on both the top and the bottom part of the bread. Who does that?? It was so bad.

I have used many caterers but Food in Motion always exceeds my expectations. The food is well-prepared, tasty and always as specified. The service (including clean-up in my home) is professional but friendly (not bored as some servers can be) and very accommodating. I would use them for events big and small.
